Temple Israel is a URJ affiliated Reform congregation serving southwest Missouri since 1893. After WWII, Temple Israel merged with the local orthodox congregation, Sha'are Zedek, forming the United Hebrew Congregation. Upon moving to its new building in 1997, the congregation renamed itself Temple Israel and currently serves 105 member families from a variety of backgrounds.  Read more about us...
